I already reviewed Narcissus in the past but they are out now with a new single and I want to share my thoughts about it.
The sinuous and sexy sound of this band is reconfirmed in their new single Friends In High Places. A song that would be perfect as the soundtrack of a James Bond movie.
A refined and magical sound that reaches directly to the listener’s heart and soul. The voice in some passages reminded me of Amy Winehouse’s.
This band has style, they know what they do and they do it well, keeping every little nuance under control and creating really beautiful songs.
A fascinating sound studied in every detail that demonstrates a great compositional ability

A trip-hop torch song – imagine Massive Attack writing a Bond theme – ‘friends in high places’ is taken from their forthcoming game changing album ‘a sense of place’, which is set for release in late 2021 and again features the stunning vocals of Becki Fishwick
