Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Forgotten Garden. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their magical sound.
From the first seconds, I was bewitched by the wonderful voice of this girl. A voice with a high and sweet timbre that thrilled me.
I felt like Ulysses when he heard the mermaids.
I closed my eyes while listening to the melodies proposed by this Duo and I began to fly with the imagination.
I saw the wipers wash the rain off the windshield as I wandered the Scottish Highlands aimlessly.
This music carries with it distant roots and traditions and manages to make you feel something magical. I was literally fascinated by the music of Forgotten Garden.
The musical arrangements flawlessly complete the sound world created by this eclectic duo.
Absolutely recommended.

Forgotten Garden are an Indie Rock band (duo+guests) with dark/gothic post-punk tendencies. Occasionally they also wander from the path of post-punk righteousness into more acoustic territory. The haunting vocals are provided by Inês whilst Danny plays most of the instruments.
Both live in the north of Scotland although Inês originally comes from Portugal. They started working together in 2019.
