Forget How to Speak is the fourth single off of Joe’s highly anticipated debut LP, following ‘Don’t Dance’, ‘Empty Prayer’ and the eponymous ‘Lifelines’, which is scheduled to be released in May 2022. The song details a turbulent relationship in which the struggle in learning how to communicate and express yourself with a partner feels overwhelming and almost impossible. ‘Forget How to Speak’ finds its voice between lush synths, organic guitar sounds and Joe’s signature groove laden indie pop.
