Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Fairway, I discovered this band on Spotify and I liked the production of their song.
These guys propose to us a very well produced music that winks at a very wide audience.
A melodic rock that does not disdain nuances much more hard rock and punk.
The arrangements are perfect for the genre with the second voices that accompany and emphasize some phrases of the lyrics and the guitars and drums that push continuously to make their song interesting from the first to the last second.
The mix is very well executed and every element finds the right sound space.
A truly professional musical product, masterfully played by this band.
You can hear that they spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room concentrating on even the smallest details in order to offer the audience quality songs.

Formed in 2019, Fairway are an energetically charged outfit hailing from London, UK – releasing their highly anticipated second single ‘Without You’ on 18th December 2020.
This Alt Rock four piece presents a distinguishably unique fusion of rap infused Alt Rock/Pop Punk – mixing thick sounding guitars, heartfelt lyrical content and melodious vocal hooks/harmonies/flow. Blending together as one to form a tightly locked rhythmic section, the group make use of emotive dynamics and pulsating structures to provide big builds, hard hitting moments and atmospherically pleasing soundscapes.
With a combined 25+ years previous songwriting/recording/touring experience including at top UK venues such as The o2 Arena, HMV Forum, o2 Indigo, The Garage, Farnborough Stadium and o2 Academys (nationwide) supporting artists such as You Me At Six & James Bourne, to name but a few – Fairway fuses the creative strengths of seasoned musicians & good friends Marty Jackson (lead vocals/guitar), Kiel Church (vocals/bass), Jack Cunniffe (guitar) and Joe Parsons (drums).
Their self penned debut single Fade Away was released in September 2019 – produced by John Mitchell at Outhouse Studios (You Me At Six/McFly/Neck Deep/Enter Shikari/Don Broco/Architects).
Having spent the remainder of 2019/early 2020 performing their high energy and memorable live show across London/South East, steadily growing a strong and faithful following along the way, the up and coming Alt Rockers headed to Stakeout Studios in March 2020 to record their EP with producer Jason Wilson (Fightstar/Reuben/Bellevue Days/We Are The Ocean/Dinosaur Pile Up).
With just one last vocal session left to go, disaster struck as the COVID 19 pandemic gripped the world – leading to a UK wide lock down and halting the completion of their recording. A few months later – with the suspense now firmly built high – the band were finally able to finish tracking vocals and are now more eager than ever to share their hard work with the world…
And so the time has come…
This release will be followed by two further singles, 3AM Friend & The Deep End, dropping in early 2021 – each backed by full music videos as well some other exciting promotional projects in the pipeline.
