A compositional approach that takes inspiration from the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
The noir/blues vibes of the new single Everywhere you go is where you’ll be made me imagine walking the streets of New Orleans and wandering the bars one of those nights when you want to feel free.
The production is impeccable and the musical arrangements are of the highest quality.
Raygun Carver proves to be an artist with a great compositional experience behind him. The attention to every little nuance is obsessive and the result is a qualitatively fantastic sound.

Everywhere you go is where you’ll be is Raygun Carver’s Single Out Now
Raygun Carver aka singer/songwriter Michael Soiseth hails from the fog enshrouded coast of the Pacific Northwest. His unique approach to Americana music has been hailed as ‘Urban Americana Noir’, incorporating elements of Country, Brit Pop, Jazz, and Folk. His first full length release, the aptly titled ‘Moon Fields Yawning’ is available on Spotify and other streaming services.
In November of 2021, the first single from his upcoming record ‘Bad Thing’ was unleashed and features Phil Madera (Emmylou Harris, Alison Krause, Shawn Mullins) on piano and Ryan Svendsen (Shawn Mendes, Demi Lovato) on trumpet. The album contains Raygun’s most inspired material to date, ranging from traditional Nashville country to New Orleans infused pop. The title track, ‘Bad Thing’ is streaming now on Spotify and other online music services.
Currently, Raygun Carver is recording new material for his third release. The as yet untitled album is heavily influenced by the gypsy style jazz of the 20’s and 30’s mixed with a sense of vaudeville and the carnival sideshows of old.
