E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Escape Ring
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Escape Ring. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their style.
The sound of this band made me think of a way of making music that reminded me of the 70s. A compositional style that is inspired by the legendary rock bands of the past.
A never predictable and banal chord progression that manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The production is very good and in particular, the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
It feels like these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable musical understanding.
The thing I liked the most is their ability to bring together harmonical intuitions of the past with details of modernity.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Hailing from Melbourne Australia, Escape Ring write songs that sound like a continuation of classic rock, but with the sonics of today. Following on from placements in US TV show NBC’s The Biggest Loser, Escape Ring are dropping debut single “Winning The War” on Dec 10th written by main songwriter Darren Moss.
