Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Ely. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of their music.
As soon as I hit the play button the first band that came to my mind was Hootie & the Blowfish.
A fresh rock that transfers positive vibes perfectly performed by this band that proves to have a deep musical understanding.
I really liked the singer’s voice, a high, precise timbre that has country nuances and that manages to transfer the right energy to the beautiful songs proposed by this band.
A band that gives its best in live concerts, these guys prove to have a great experience behind them.
The production is very professional and the mix in particular leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

New folk fusion band, ELY, are bursting onto the scene with their upbeat debut single, which offers a catchy melody and a style that is reminiscent of 70s rock icon, Iggy Pop. The group is led by award-winning singer/songwriter and emerging star, Jenny Colquitt, who recently received critical acclaim for her solo single, Dirty Town. For reference, Jenny’s vocals have been described as a hybrid of Lady Gaga (a la A Star Is Born) and Joni Mitchell (circa. Big Yellow Taxi).
