E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Elliott Kean
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Elliott Kean. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere of his musical vision.
I immediately understood the vibes of this talented artist’s music.
Elliott Kean’s music reaches the listener’s heart and soul and the lyrics of his songs are deep and full of meaning.
The thing that I liked the most is the passion that this guy puts into composing and interpreting his music.
His style is inspired by the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
I would have worked a little more on the production which in my opinion is still a bit rough … but maybe it’s this purity and simplicity that make this album very captivating to listen to.
I liked all the songs of Generation Breakdown and I highly recommend this artist to everyone.
Generation Breakdown is Elliott Kean’s Album Out Now!
Pure and Direct!
‘Generation Breakdown’ is a real labour of love. Over a year and a half in the making, it comprises almost an hour of music across 10 tracks. The album title implies a dual-meaning. Firstly, mental breakdown, the generation likely most open about mental health and often referred to as snowflakes.
Secondly, climate & ecological breakdown, the generation that has inherited an environmental crisis and the generation that must fix it. So what’s it like to be alive today? There are themes running through the album exploring modern life i.e. overconsumption in the song ‘Clutter’ and instant gratification and the 9 to 5 treadmill in ‘Kings Of Old’.
