E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Elliott Jones
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Elliott Jones. I discovered this artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I instantly liked the atmosphere of his songs.
While listening to Elliott Jones, for some reason, I immediately thought about Oasis and Smashing Pumpinks.
The voice and melodic lines seem to merge these two bands into one artist.
The slightly hoarse voice adds that touch of aggressiveness, and although the songs are quite melodic, with this voice they also seem a bit grunge.
I especially liked the guitars, the sound of the distortion is rad and the cohesion between the various instruments is fantastic.
The mix is very well balanced and the musical product of great quality.
I didn’t find many flaws in Elliott Jones’ music, everything flows…melodies, production, arrangements, and vocals.
Definitely an artist to keep an eye on because he seems to have very clear ideas on how to carry on his musical project.
