Electric Flowers is Groovy Shirt Club’s Album Out Now
The music of this band transfers contagious energy.
I really like the philosophy behind this musical project. The sincerity of their sound is enviable. In a world dominated by beats and computers, there are still bands like Groovy Shirt Club playing real instruments and sweating in the rehearsal room.
We are faced with very good musicians who love to play together and who have managed to create enviable chemistry between them.
The songs on the Electric Flowers album are refined and demonstrate an uncommon compositional talent.
They call themselves Retro but in my opinion, their music is modern. Although the melodies have influences from the past, they have been cleverly inserted in an innovative context.
The passion that Groovy Shirt Club puts into composing and interpreting their songs is fascinating.
These guys have managed to create a unique sound blend that makes them stand out from the crowd. All the songs on the album are solid.
I advise everyone to listen to them several times so as to appreciate all the wonderful nuances contained in the musical arrangements.
A great find that I recommend to everyone.

Our songs are a philosophical take on things. Contemplating real life, love and experience. We are a group of musicians and writers who essentially are great friends who approach our work with integrity, honesty and an ego free ethic to get the best out of each other and the songs. We believe the human touch in a lot of current music production is lost or replaced with binary code. We put air into our music using analogue techniques and live performances, separating ourselves from the production of digital derivatives. It is our philosophy that the way to connect with those who resonate with us, is to bare our souls so they feel our personality and character in the recordings.
