I already reviewed Eddie Cohn in the past but his new single “Animals” is out now and I want to share my opinion about it.
Another great song from this great artist.
His music is always very refined, the melodic lines are able to amaze because they are intricate, articulated, and magical.
As soon as you let yourself go to the sound world of this artist you feel a bit of U2 in a bit of Peter Gabriel, artists capable of moving the entire world.
Eddie manages to make you think of these great artists because he is attentive to every slightest nuance and the chord progression of his songs is never predictable and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.

Animals is the second single off of Eddie Cohn’s upcoming record called Dystopian Days. Fusing elements of rock, electronic and cinematic strings, Cohn follows up the politically charged single FREEDOM with a song inspired by the unrest and chaos unfolding during Covid and the George Floyd protests.
Living just a few blocks away from the riots that took place in LA, Eddie Cohn writes a song about the carnal and animalistic tendencies of human beings.
