our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Promises Promises. I discovered this amazing band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I instantly liked their weird but fascinating melodies and sounds.
A melodic and energetic sound that sometimes reminds me of Counting Crows. The captivating melodies make you travel.
They reminded me of the boundless expanses of Nebraska, music that makes you want to travel and be free.
Their sound also has some very interesting cues such as the inclusion of the totally unexpected sax that duets with the guitar, fantastic idea.
They are great musicians and the production is of high quality. Also, the timbre of the singer’s voice is very beautiful and engaging.
You will definitely like them…this is a promise 🙂
