E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Drools
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Drools. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify I was entertained by their music.
The energetic and powerful sound of this band immediately took hold of my nervous system which began to send electrical impulses to the whole body… I found myself jumping around my house following the groove of this beautiful song.
Fools In Hell is a very catchy song that somehow takes inspiration from the past but at the same time manages to be modern, especially for the quality of the sounds and of the musical arrangements.
Drools have recently formed but you feel that they have a great compositional experience behind them as the song flows well and the chord progression is not obvious and banal.
In addition, the musical understanding between these guys is truly enviable, you feel that they are having fun while they play together and their passion for music is contagious.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

This four-eyed quartet is the sum of four friends (and brothers even) that’s been crossing paths in the rock scene in south Sweden as well as previous band projects for the last 10+ years. All with their own niched taste for great music, but with a common ground around uplifting rock n roll that gets your mood purring on that Friday afternoon.
Drools’ using a typical rock band setup with distorted guitars, heavy bass and punchy drums to create melodic, easy-to-like tunes with rough edges.
