Unconventional!
This has been a lyrical collaboration between myself and my wife over 5 years ago and it finally made it “out to the world”. I remember I had a melody in mind and the phrase “we’re going down” stuck in my head to fit it. To me it was to be a song about a couple finding themselves in a natural disaster. But I didn’t have an inspiration for the verses and asked my wife – my girlfriend at the time – for help. She gave me some lines which I worked in, changing some words to make it fit melodically. – Serge Preo
