From the start, Paper Bridge, the band sets a bold tone, as the vocalist clears his throat before launching into an intense mix of alternative and psychedelic rock. The vocal delivery is full of dramatic flair, drawing the listener in with its intriguing theatricality.
Narcissistic Rabbit Holes picks up the pace with a wild, punk-inspired energy. Driven by a solid drumbeat and a racing bassline, this track is untamed and unpredictable, pulling from punk and hardcore influences.
Following this, Malter Ego switches gears with a groovy rhythm and riffs reminiscent of AC/DC. The chaotic and eccentric style of Media Stres shines through, blending diverse influences into a sound that is frenetic and unmistakably their own.
Subtle Art of Not Giving offers a melodic shift, featuring a chorus that invites singalongs and showcases a slightly softer side of the band. It’s a track that balances their raw energy with catchy hooks, creating a standout moment on the album.
One of the highlights is Embers on the Ground, which brings a sinister and epic vibe to the forefront. Its dystopian atmosphere is haunting and intense, painting images of a crumbling future.

Media Stres is an alternative rock band from Čakovec (Croatia) founded in 2012. Over the course of their career, they have released three EP albums: Fear and Panic (2013), E.V.I.L. I (2014), and E.V.I.L. II (2016).
The band is known for their energetic live performances and have played more than a hundred concerts across Croatia and neighboring countries, performing at renowned festivals such as INmusic festival (CRO), Mikser Festival in Belgrade (SRB), Imagine Festival in Paris (FRA), Ferragosto Jam festival (CRO), and Demofest in Banja Luka (BiH). They won awards for the most promising band at the Zaprešić Demo Fest in 2014 and the O’rock Festival in 2015, and they performed in the finals of HGF in 2016.
