Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Quantum in the past but they are out now with a new cool single and I want to share my opinion about it.
This energetic tune immediately manages to entertain you. An epic start that prompted me to raise my arm with the horns pointed towards the sky.
I really liked the drum riffs and rhythmic cadence of the new single DESPERATE (LY). A song that especially in the chorus manages to give you very strong emotions with a solid and powerful melodic line.
Quantum know how to play and have a great compositional experience behind them and you feel that they spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to reach such an enviable sound understanding.
A band with clear ideas on how to offer their sound to the masses around the world.
We are faced with professionals who have been able to follow their instincts and bring their musical vision to reality.
Go and listen to them a listen it’s worth it!
DESPERATE(LY) is Quantum’s Single Out Now!
Powerful and Epic!
DESPERATE(LY) is a plea to humanitarian behavior for the greater good of our global society. An abandonment of opportunism and egoism. Where does this faster, bigger, stronger world lead us to?
QUANTUM releases DESPERATE(LY) – their fifth single within one year. The kick-off for the creative flow was the unexpected good result, with the third place, at the SPH Music Masters 2020. Encouraged by the far-reaching positive feedback, the band used the Corona standstill to define their identity. Musically and lyrically, the five guys have been appearing in a new guise ever since.
The songs are now about joie de vivre and faith in a world in which it is becoming increasingly difficult to find one’s own place. “We are a motley crew, which has managed to function. This is precisely what has also happened with our music, it has become versatile, modern while the roots remain distinctive,” says Kay Mangold the band’s drummer.
Musically DESPERATE(LY) plays with the extremes: Calm storytelling is followed by captivating guitar riffs. A breakdown bursting into the sheer madness of our time and a finale full of instrumental violence, pumps up the listener with a large portion of energy.
