I already reviewed Smoke Spider in the past but they are back with a new single and I want to share my opinion about it.

Try to imagine that you are in a desert and instead of hearing the shaker at the beginning of this song that sound is made by a rattlesnake.
Try putting yourself in the shoes of a renegade who just robbed a bank and is running away from the police.
This song is a wild ride in search of ourselves. In the desert of life will we be able to find our oasis of happiness?
The vintage, acid, and intense sound of Smoke Spider is reconfirmed in this beautiful song. Desolation made me think of Alice Cooper for a few moments.
This band always manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second. Their music is intriguing and epic.
I’m already a fan of this band but this song solidified my opinion of them.

Smoke Spider is releasing their sixth single since the start of the project: Desolation.
With their signature strong melodies and that special groove the Swedish duo present yet another cool single. Desolation is about finding an exit, when your whole being is screaming for relief and redemption and you’re looking for that worm hole in reality’s web through which you’ll get to that “somewhere else-place” where the pain that’s keeping you on your toes will die down and let you put your naked feet to the ground.
