Delay Decay is the Mort Jardin’s Album
The style of this artist is truly fascinating.
An avant-garde and innovative compositional approach that creates an unusually unstable and mysterious universe.
I would define Mort Jardin‘s music as Psychedelic Noir Rock with influences from the past but with a modern and futuristic vision.
Surely we are dealing with an artist with solid and coherent artistic taste. His compositional skills make me compare him to artists like David Bowie.
Mort Jardin is very talented there is no doubt about it. This artist loves to experiment and listening to Delay Decay is a unique experience…truly an intriguing journey.
The production is fantastic and the performance and interpretation are masterful.
An artist to follow carefully as he walks on musical paths never traveled before.

Delay Decay is Mort Jardin’s Album
Mort Jardin embrace their fever dream narrative in post punk, neo-psych infused with jazz, swing, blues; orchestrated by fractured and reverberating guitar layers over drum loops and low slung basslines.
“Mort Jardin keep evolving, whilst never discarding what they do best. Delay Decay fuses roadhouse blues and psychedelia with discordant yet masterfully structured soundscapes. It meanders pleasingly from poetic and dreamy to brutal and ice cool.” Joe Moorwood.
