DCxPC Live Vol. 10 Presents RATH & The Wise Guys / The Kutoffs Live at Lou’s
Good Day Noir Family,
DCxPC Live is an avalanche of music and here is volume 10.
DCxPC Live Vol. 10 Presents RATH & The Wise Guys / The Kutoffs Live at Lou’s
Let’s start with the first band RATH & The Wise Guys. I hit the play button and started screaming and jumping around the house.
This music is an out-of-control train, chaotic and powerful with continuous harmonic variations.
Their music is for the suburbs, it’s certainly not for guys with coiffed hair and girls with perfect nails. RATH & The Wise Guys is a wild call that wants to bring out the rock instinct hiding in your soul.
The Kutoffs’ sound is a little more catchy and sometimes it reminded me of bands like Bad Religion. Perhaps the compositional approach of this band, even if they sound American, seems to be inspired by Europe… the UK to be more precise.
I really liked the singer’s vocal timbre which in my opinion is perfect for the genre.
DCxPC with its mission to make underground bands known to the world is really doing things right and always brings us fantastic music.

DCxPC Live Vol. 10 Presents RATH & The Wise Guys / The Kutoffs Live at Lou’s
DCxPC Live is back with another split 7″ featuring two killer pop punk/skate punk bands from the Tampa, Fl region! While both bands definitely fit into the pop punk genre, RATH & The Wise Guys brings a little more of that dirty rock n’ roll sound to their music while The Kutoffs adhere to that Fat Music and Lookout Records sound akin to No Use for A Name and Screaching Weasel. Pressed on sea glass blue, there were only 200 pressed, and they won’t be pressed again. Like our previous release with Some Kind of Nightmare, this one was recorded live at Lou’s and sounds so good, you’d think it was a studio album.
