our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to David Gould. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was impressed by the quality of his music.
The atmosphere created by this artist’s sound mesmerized me.
A unique compositional style that manages to stand out from the crowd already from the very first seconds. David Gould’s music lives in a limbo of its own.
Surely we are faced with a very talented musician and a songwriter with a lot of experience behind him.
The musical arrangements are impeccable and every detail is kept under control with maniacal attention.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The sound created by this artist and his artistic vision is remarkable, it is difficult to find people with so much talent and with this great expressiveness that is literally able to give vital energy to this wonderful music.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

David Gould is a British singer-songwriter, composer and producer, currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Using his virtuostic classical guitar as the backbone of his songwriting, David’s heart-felt, psychedelia-tinged folk music has been heard in TV programs such as BBC’s ‘Being Muslim’, and broadcast on stations such as Slim Radio. David’s latest release ‘Halfway House’ is a psychedelic exploration of shifting time signatures with electronic and acoustic instrumentation.
