Try to imagine a thousand-year-old culture like that of Thailand and modern sounds that come together. This is the perfect recipe for a sonic big bang.
As soon as I started listening to the music of this talented artist, I felt tradition and modernity collide.
The ancestral charm of oriental culture that turns into music. These sounds speak directly to your soul and stimulate energetic connections that activate the nervous system.
Your pineal gland begins to produce fantastic visions that make you forget the reality around you.
Saun Santipreecha is a great composer capable of making us know unknown parts of our unconscious through music.
The attention to every detail is obsessive and the execution and interpretation are impeccable.
Dandelye is a mature and coherent album that seems to hide a coded message sent from the future. But to better understand the future we must always look back and remember our past.
Absolutely amazing!

Saun is a composer and sound artist from Thailand whose practice focuses on the relationship between nature, humans and technology, exploring the space between them, the push and pull of each by the others, the manipulation of one by another. He utilizes both sounds captured acoustically as well as those generated from within the void of voltages, often juxtaposing them, contrasting moments in time to create an impression of timelessness within a sonic womb that evokes but doesn’t specify.
Aside from his solo work, he often collaborates with artists from various fields including filmmakers, singer-songwriters, fashion designers and writers. He is passionate about and is constantly inspired by all art forms particularly the visual arts, literature and film and in his spare time writes poetry in English using an ancient Thai poetic form called Khlong. He is currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
