Good Day Noir Family,
With her single Daily Dose of Danger, Ævina draws listeners into an eerie and fascinating world that feels magical and sinister.

Daily Dose of Danger is Ævina’s Single Out Now

Her voice holds a haunting quality, like a hidden secret you’re both curious to uncover yet instinctively wary of.

The song unfolds as a hypnotic ballad with an unsettling atmosphere, perfect for the spooky season. The delicate keys create unstable melodies, and the Ukulele adds a crystalline sharpness, as light as a spider’s web, giving the track its unnerving charm.

The accompanying music video is superb. It portrays Ævina’s rebirth, her transformation into a more authentic version of herself called The Ukulelian.

The visuals are unsettling and artistic, capturing a dark aesthetic with a giant spider sculpture on a field and the artist emerging from an egg-like cocoon.

The entire concept pushes far beyond music, showcasing her broader creative vision. The unsettling references, like nods to silent films such as Nosferatu, are sure to leave you speechless.

From beginning to end, this world Ævina creates feels like a place you’ll want to explore more than once, where each layer offers something new.

The final touch of the song—an eerie sound of a carillon—perfectly encapsulates the haunting tone she sets throughout.

Hypnotic!

Ævina’s journey has been deeply intertwined with the arts, spending her youth participating in every choir, band, theatrical and liturgical production she encountered, learning flute, trumpet, piano and guitar.

After rediscovering her original songs while sifting through sentimental items, the floodgates of creativity opened with ævina delving into rich poetic songwriting, exploring themes ranging from gratitude to the complexities of social media relationships. In her own words: “Faced with my own mortality, I realised the only thing I would regret were I to pass away would be not giving my
music a chance to be heard. I knew an audience for my music existed, all that was left to do was record, release, and get my songs in front of them.”

Bringing together a vast tapestry of influences with the help of integral collaborator and producer Michael Rachlin, whom ævina met at Sound on Sound Studios (Beyonce, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen) in Montclair, NJ, she continues to unveil the intricate world she has created, a transcendent, interstellar bard performing under the guise of The Ukulelian.
