Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Culture of Digital Elegance (C.O.D.E). I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I really liked the energy and chord progression of their songs.
I instantly loved the sound of this band.
A very energetic and powerful sound that hides a vintage vein.
The singer’s voice has a very particular cool timbre that makes the sound of this band immediately recognizable.
The chord progression is never banal and in some parts, for some melodic intuitions, it reminded me of Alice in Chains.
A modern rock that winks at past musical eras such as the 80s and 90s.
Nice breaks and variations that are able to entertain the listener and you remain glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
I liked the sounds of distorted guitars that push well when the chorus opens and the intensity increses.
The mix is very well done and every sound element finds the right space in an admirable balance.
Words is C.O.D.E’s Single Out Now!
Band that knows its stuff and knows how to rock!
Culture Of Digital Elegance (C.O.D.E) has redefined the blending of electronic sounds with rock attitude and style. The band released their debut album “Culture Of Digital Elegance” in 2008. A year later, several of the tracks were remixed by Geedel and thus the birth of “4 On The Floor” EP came.
In 2013, another five songs compiled the “Machine EP” and in 2015 the “Imperfect Love” single expanded their sound, with the addition of the new member Elias Goulas on drums. “No Excuses” introduces the band’s upcoming album and sets the mood for what is yet to come. The album which is also going to be titled “No Excuses” will be the band’s second full album release.
