This band has a very interesting songwriting style.
As soon as I hit the play button it sounded like a rock/pop song. I was drinking coffee like a nobleman and enjoying listening to the mellow melody of this tune. Then at the second 38, everything changed. I spilled the coffee on my shirt and the sacred fire of rock began to boil in my veins…screw the nobles and as always power to the people \m/
I suddenly found myself squashed on a car windshield like a gnat.
The dynamics of Covered In Blue change unexpectedly and hit you straight like a punch in the face. Absolutely amazing!
The song becomes an epic and catchy hard rock anthem. The guitars are powerful and the singer throws his lungs into the microphone. The second verse lowers the tension for a moment and then it rides again like the valkyries towards the grand finale.
Dev Crawford are not here to joke around. A band with a solid artistic vision and an enviable determination.
I suggest to everyone to go and listen to them, you will be surprised by their music.
