our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Colt Sterk. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere created by his music.
The sound proposed by this talented artist is very engaging and for a moment his music made me forget about everyday problems.
The new single Cherry Stem is a song that transfers positive vibes and puts you in a good mood.
Surely we are faced with a songwriter with a great compositional experience behind him as the chord progression is never predictable and banal and the harmonic structure of the song is solid.
Colt Sterk’s vocal timbre is perfect for the genre and with his passionate interpretation, he manages to make you believe the words of the lyrics.
A Country/Rock style which lacks nothing and which in my opinion is ready to be appreciated by the masses around the world.

Colt Sterk is a singer/songwriter from Eagle, Idaho. He is a graduate from the US Military Academy at West Point and is currently serving in the US Army as a Blackhawk pilot. Despite a demanding job in the service, he has never failed to find time to prioritize his music. His music career began when his grandpa Rick gave him his first guitar at 13 years old. From then on, Colt was self-taught and over the years developed a passion for singing and writing music. Colt released his debut single “Grandpa’s Truck” on December 4th, 2020, and is releasing his first EP in the summer of 2022.
