Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Wave and Wire in the past but they are back with a new single and this is what I think about it.
Colorless is Wave and Wire’s Single Out Now
Another beautiful song from this talented band.
These guys not only compose unique and intriguing songs but they also have something to say.
A different way of dealing with the theme of war demonstrates how deep Wave and Wire’s soul is.
The harmonic progression of this track is fascinating and the rhythmic and dynamic variations keep you glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
In some moments the musical part reminded me of shades of Queens of the Stone Age.
The rhythm of the drums recalls the soldiers’ march. This maniacal attention to every detail makes this band so mature.
Colorless is a solid tune of great compositional level that demonstrates once again the potential of this band.
10 out of 10!
Colorless is Wave and Wire’s Single Out Now!
Deep and Intense!
Colorless is Wave and Wire’s Single Out Now
“This new single talks about war, which is definitely a topic from our current days. It talks about the color within the war, giving some kind of colorful visual to something sad. That’s why the title is colorless, the war is fading colors away.”
