Good Day Noir Family,
Electric High’s latest album, Colorful White Lies, is a powerhouse journey through rock that delivers from the first track to the last.

Opening with “Sun,” the album builds a foundation of unrelenting energy; the guitars’ fast-paced drums and electric fury make you feel like you’re racing down a highway with the wind in your face.

The next track, “Harder to Justify,” brings a heavier guitar riff and irresistible groove, making it impossible not to nod along as the vocals hit you with infectious hooks.

The title track, “Colorful White Lies,” showcases the band’s creative edge. Its hauntingly psychedelic melody sticks in your head, infused with an Americana vibe reminiscent of Kid Rock’s more unpredictable side.

“Seven Wonders” is the track for a group on the prowl—its sly, driving rhythm, punctuated by playful breaks, brings back the edgy style of 70s TV shows like Batman in a totally fresh way.

“Wasted” amps up the intensity with another surge of adrenaline—a relentless song that highlights Electric High’s musical talent.

Then there’s “Cyclone,” a track brimming with an offbeat, almost comic charm that reflects the band’s lighter side, all while keeping the rock energy alive.

“Weeping Gods” offers a haunting, almost post-apocalyptic feel, with desert-worn riffs that evoke the spirit of Mad Max and a grittier, raw intensity that’s impossible to ignore.

The album closes with “Siren’s Lullaby,” a fitting finish that brings the high-energy journey to a satisfying end.

Each track is an experience, delivering rock in its full, vivid spectrum. Electric High knows exactly what they’re doing, and they do it with style and skill.

Electrifying!

Colorful White Lies is Electric High’s Album Out Now

Electric High was apparently conceived when members of Faith Circus, Sahg and Emmerhoff & The Melancholy Babies clashed during a drunken night out in Bergen, Norway, in 2019. In fact, a night so drunken, that none of the members actually recalls the band being formed. So, there’s a real possibility that Electric High doesn’t really exist … Anyways. From the get-go, it was clear that the band’s most deadly weapon was the two lead singers, in front of a classic power trio of guitar, bass and drums, which elevated the band to a whole new level of electric power.

The two loud-mouthed frontmen opened up for creative opportunities that became a trademark for Electric High’s sound and songwriting. Writing sessions and rehearsals commenced, and the band’s expression gradually took form, with its special blend of alternative rock and classic hard rock, kind of like if Rival Sons and Royal Blood had crashed the stage at an Aerosmith concert.
