Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Collin Stanley. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of this music.
The compositional style of this artist impressed me a lot.
A rock that takes its cue from the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
In some passages, his musical approach reminded me of Queens of the Stone Age. An airy, desert rock sound that makes you imagine driving your convertible in the Mojave Desert.
This music makes you feel free and awakens the wild and rock spirit that hides within you.
The production is very good, especially the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
The sounds are powerful, a little acid, in my opinion, perfect for this genre.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone, you feel that this artist has a lot of experience behind him because he offers very well structured songs.

Great Energy!
Collin Stanley first immersed himself into Detroit, Michigan’s thriving garage rock scene around 2012. His earliest musical influences were blues, classic rock, and garage rock. Bands and artists such as Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and David Bowie.
Solidifying his roots as a rock musician, Collin embraces the sounds of artists like The White Stripes, Alice Cooper, The Stooges, MC5, and all that Detroit rock music. His unique style lies at the midpoint between classic, alternative and garage rock. There’s a great understanding of quiet/loud dynamics and the music that brought to mind Pixies and Nirvana.
