CLIMBO or The Mistakes That Make Us is Solemn Golem’s Album
This music will kidnap your thoughts and you will explore unknown parts of your unconscious.
The thing I liked the most is that in these magical melodies I can hear the wild Finnish nature becoming music.
Solemn Golem’s songs are an ancestral cry. An epic journey of a sensitive and profound soul who is not afraid to venture into the abyss.
All the songs of CLIMBO or The Mistakes That Make Us are solid and the album follows a consistent thread. Listening to these songs is like reading a book and following a story that has a beginning and an end.
Solemn Golem’s voice and interpretative style reminded me in some moments of Nick Cave and in others Johnny Cash.
I was very fascinated by the music of this artist and I recommend everyone to go and listen to him.

CLIMBO or The Mistakes That Make Us is Solemn Golem’s Album
Solemn Golem’s music and visuals are entirely made by a Finnish singer-songwriter Pyry Urhonen. The point is not to showcase multi-instrumentalism but to bring out the most intimate and complete expressions of the songs possible. The music is clearly song-based, but there’s a strong story and musical frame to the full album.
Genre-wise you’ll find the most similarities in post-rock as well as 70’s prog and art rock.
Solemn Golem’s main focus is making music that takes you somewhere new but familiar and makes feelings emerge.
We like Rock, Alternative, Hard Rock, Metal, Folk, Country, Darkwave, and Classical Music, so we are all ears if you have a cool tune. Submit Your Music Now!
