our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Chafa. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the refined melodies that he proposes.
As soon as I put on my headphones and pressed the play button I immediately found myself in a parallel universe and I let myself be carried away by the magical melodies created by this talented artist.
His fingers caress the piano keys and the notes fall like raindrops in a puddle.
They hit you and then in a moment they vanish as if they had never existed but then you realize that instead, that moment is indelible and infinite in your soul.
Chafa proposes magnificent music, refined and simple at the same time.
These melodies speak directly to your heart and soul and literally make you forget the sight of everyday life.

The up-and-coming musician has been playing piano since he was just twelve. Early-on he was heavily influenced by classic rock, old-school hip-hop, classical, and jazz. This diverse range of inspirations seeps through in his style that is rich and oozing with originality.
He is completely self-taught, learning mainly by ear and imitation, which gives him an added edge and a level of authenticity in his work that cannot be found anywhere else. In his long-spanning career he has had the opportunity to perform at a range of events. From performing at Radio City Music Hall, to the streets of New Orleans, he has been a certified source of musical entertainment for many.
