our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Carley Varley. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere created by her music.
The thing that I liked from the first seconds is the vocal timbre of this talented artist.
Her voice is rich in nuances, warm and sweet capable of making you believe in the words sung in the lyrics.
While I was listening to the new single ‘Miss Me?’ I felt the passion that Carley Varley puts into it when she composes and interprets her songs.
The chord progression is not obvious and banal and this song is a continuous crescendo of emotions.
The production is very good, especially the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
An artist who has a bright future ahead of her as she offers mature music ready to be listened to by a lot of people around the world.

Carley has been songwriting and playing the guitar and piano since the age of 14. In 2016 she was spotted busking in the quaint seaside town of Lymington on the south coast and was soon catapulted onto the stages at The Ritz and The Waldorf in London. Carley and her guitar have been regulars on the Dorset and Hampshire music scene ever since.
