E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Broken Links
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Broken Links. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify I really liked their musical vision.
The compositional style of this band impressed me a lot.
To better understand what I was facing, I first went to listen to the original album released in 2021, and then I immersed myself in the remix.
Surely we are faced with great musicians with a great compositional experience behind them. The songs of the 2021 album are all solid, in some moments they reminded me of Muse in others Depeche Mode.
Broken Links’ music is hypnotic and mysterious with sometimes sinister melodies that have literally bewitched me.
Then I listened to the remix album and it felt like I was taking a leap into the future. The sounds are industrial, powerful, and epic.
I really like when artists experiment and look for new ways how to”dress” their music. Surely we are faced with something innovative and unique, a fascinating blend capable of intriguing the listener who remains glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
