Brand New You is The High Road’s Single
As soon as I pressed the play button, I immediately realized that I was dealing with musicians with a great experience behind them.
Vocals and backing vocals are done to perfection recalling the Eagles’ and the Beach Boys. The High Road offers a very catchy and intense rock with country nuances.
The guitars make beautiful riffs and the chord progression keeps you glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
I honestly couldn’t find flaws with Brand New You, a perfect song, very professionally produced and performed.
The High Road produces top-quality music that winks at the classic rock of a few decades ago but manages to be modern at the same time.
These guys can play, there’s no doubt about that. A great find that I recommend to everyone.

Brand New You is The High Road’s Single
The High Road was formed in 2016, in Canada, by Don Scott and Ron Fathers. Rising from the ashes of a previous band reunion, the two decided to form a new band, based on the chemistry of their vocal harmonies and similar musical influences. Along the way, Richard Fathers came on board as a side member, and then, a full-fledged member. Needing to fill the role of keyboard player, Dave Martin answered the call. The final link was drummer Greg Frank, completing the lineup.
All members sing lead vocals, and vocal harmonies, and are praised for their lush harmonies and top notch songwriting.
Don Scott (Vocals, Guitar, Keys) Signed to a publishing deal by Audigram Inc in Nashville. Scott honed his songwriting skills while playing in various bands. Although music has always been his passion, Scott has also been an airbrush artist (hockey masks) and acrylic painter.
Ron Fathers (Vocals, Bass, Guitar) Performed in various original bands, and has done session work for various independent artists. Ron has a keen interest in the visual arts, along with songwriting.
Richard Fathers (Vocals, Guitar, Keys, Lap Steel Guitar, Harmonica) Rick is a prolific songwriter. He has written incidental music for independent films, and has performed with various bands throughout his musical career.
Dave Martin (Vocals, Keys, Guitar, Drums) A songwriter that cut his songwriting chops while performing with various groups on his musical journey. Dave loves reading, and sleeping .
Greg Frank (Drums, Vocals) Playing since he was 8 years old, his influences include John Bonham, Neil Peart, Stewart Copeland, and hundreds of other notable drummers… including his older brother Randall.
