our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Flaming June. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their energy and sound.
Are you ready for a trip to Louisiana driving an old ford track?
Are you ready to breathe the air of freedom that only rock and blues can give you?
The sound of this band is contagious, a way of composing music that has distant roots and is inspired by the rock of the 70s.
This sound is vintage but manages to be modern at the same time.
A very close-knit band that manages to transfer deep emotions into notes that only music can describe.
Fragments of real life told in a sincere way and without strings attached. A raw and direct sound as it should be for this musical genre.
The production is professional and the mix leaves the right space for each sound element and the songs breathe well.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Vintage and Groovy!
Formed in the heart of South Wales in 2017, the band originally came together as an acoustic act, but with years under their belt they’ve developed into an electric Blues-Rock band taking inspiration from Muddy Waters and Hendrix to the social commentary of Paul Weller, with a touch of John Mayall in the mix.
The band have performed all over the country – they headlined the Tenby Blues Festival, and will be playing a 500-seat gig in Cardiff Castle in August 2021.
