our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Beat The Drum. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and liked their musical vision.
The music of this duo seems to come from the future even if it brings with it ingredients from the past.
In some moments the proposed melodies made me think of John Carpenter and in other Peter Gabriel.
Beat The Drum have managed to create their own style and have courageously followed their musical vision and have been able to conceive something unique and innovative.
The atmosphere of their Ep ‘Supernatural’ is intriguingly epic and mysterious. A journey to the edge of the universe and an introspective journey in search of yourself.
This music hides something magical that is capable of opening extrasensory portals and making you feel in a parallel universe.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
