I already reviewed Hollow River in the past but this talented artist is back with his debut Ep and I want to share my opinion about it.

I am very happy to be able to listen to this artist’s Ep.
When I listened to the single Aspartame a few months ago I noticed an irreverent inclination of his personality. Although the song winked at rap I felt that the sacred fire of rock also flowed in this artist’s blood.
Back Bay Dropout brings out this compositional aspect of Hollow River.
Now that I have a clearer idea of his compositional spectrum I feel like bringing him closer to bands like Blink 182, and Sum 41. Obviously, this propensity towards rap makes his music absolutely unique and original.
I enjoyed the distorted guitars, powerful arrangements, and sharp lyrics.
Hollow River is a great artist and has a bright future ahead of him. His music manages to entertain you from the first to the last second thanks to the thousand variations and nuances.
Absolutely reconfirmed.

Pop-Punk-Rapper who dropped out of Berklee with one semester left. Signed a deal with Ninetone Records and this is my first EP released through them. 3 singles plus an EP closer that has some particularly sharp lyrics in it.
Hollow River is a Canadian Pop-Punk-Rapper whose hybrid sound blends fast, upbeat guitars and rhythm sections with lyrics that are dripping with vivid imagery. HR started his music career interning at the legendary Grant Avenue Studio before moving to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music where he worked towards a double major in Music Production and Engineering/Songwriting respectively.
