our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Avaraj. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked her unique sound.
I liked the atmosphere that the music of this artist manages to recreate from the first seconds and I loved the unique timbre of her voice.
A mysterious and twilight sound that has something hypnotic that made me fly with the imagination. In some moments her compositional style reminded me of HIM.
The piano sinuously enters and adds an aura of melancholy and like a fog makes the landscape magical and sinister.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and the change of rhythm and melodies manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
Songs like these could be used as soundtracks for films like Blade Runner. Her sound reminded me of those images.
