welcome to Edgar Allan Poets indie music corner. A space dedicated to the best new artists and bands we find around the web. Today’s featured band is Cosmic Embers and their Single Apocalypse In Metropolis. I immediately understood their sound and I liked it a lot.

The psychedelic music of this band took me into a dusk dimension. A dark and intense sound that immediately intrigued me.
Try to imagine a softer version of Type O Negative, this is what the Cosmic Embers reminded me of.
I liked everything about their artistic vision. The sounds of the guitars are solid and distorted to the right point.
The bass ventures into intricate melodic lines that flawlessly support the rhythmic aspect of the song along with the drums.
The voice with its low and warm timbre manages to hypnotize the listener.
A musical project that I will follow closely as in my opinion, it has a Noir spirit that I obviously like very much.
The production and execution are impeccable. A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Cosmic Embers are a new Irish psychedelic rock band whose members are paddy o keeffe guitars keys vocals and his nephew Adam Walsh Bass guitar and featuring Adams Father Anto walsh on drums. They started jamming and writing songs at the end of last summer.
Their influences are eclectic and varied including Blur, The Doors, Red hot chilli peppers and victor wooten . They have spent 100s of hours over the last 10 months honing their craft and skills creating sonic landscapes in which they tell their tales and stories of humour and anxieties about the world we live in .They are already extremely comfortable fusing different genres to create their own unique style .
The founding pair O Keeffe and Walsh (who are Uncle and Nephew)immediately found that their different musical tastes when combined, resulted in unique sounding melodies and an atmospheric feel to their songs. They are looking forward to showcasing their distinctive signature sound to live settings around the country later in the year.
