This song caressed my ears. Soft as velvet and intriguing as a beautiful woman it spoke directly to my soul and my heart.
While listening to Carsten Schnell’s guitar I felt a moment of pure ecstasy, I closed my eyes and let myself be carried away into the musical universe created by this fantastic artist.
I imagined walking the streets of Berlin on a rainy night one of those days when you want to be alone with yourself and wander around the city. My tears were falling down with the rain but I felt happy and free.
Undoubtedly we are dealing with a great artist with a lot of compositional experience behind him.
Another Day Another Dollar is an intense and mature blues capable of awakening very strong emotions.
A great find that I recommend to everyone.

Another Day Another Dollar is Carsten Schnell’s Single
The classically trained composer Carsten Schnell surprised the critics with his debut album “Adjust” in 1992 with his unusual sound sculptures. Today he is considered one of the first artists at BSC Music and a pioneer of modern electronic Music in the early 90th. He had his own signature from the start and was compared to Jean-Michel Jarre and Vangelis. On the albums Acoustic Delusion and U!, Schnell expanded his approach beyond the confines of the electronic genre. With “Moments In The Past” he finally combined his symphonic roots with modern electronic music.
He then retired from music and only wrote minor commissions for theater and entertainment, but has been deeply involved with the blues since its inception. Over the years, the idea of combining electronic sounds with blues themes came up. So he came back in 2021 with the single “Why do you lie to me?” and combines electronic music with the feeling of “Slow Blues” in the style of BB King or Gary BB Coleman. His Single “Dream break” combines Trance and Pop with Blues Licks and Vocals. The latest release for this summer goes back into the electronic music of Kraftwerk and Jean-Michel Jarre. After a brief foray into electronic music (One Two Three), he’s now returning to the blues. With his new single he now presents a pure blues title in the style of Slow Chicago Blues. The sound of the “Lucille” is released here without vocals and carries the melody.
