our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Andreas Jansson. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his voice.
As soon as I hit the play button I was immediately struck by the beautiful voice of this artist.
A Michael Bolton-like voice capable of moving and reaching and speaking directly to the soul.
A great vocal control and a great technique that surely has been developed with years of study behind it.
This artist offers intense and deep songs, certainly not obvious and banal.
The compositional skills reminded me in some moments, Elton John.
Songs well structured with interesting harmonic intuitions and with a chor progression capable of entertaining the listener from the first to the last second.
A mature artist able to excite that is definitely ready to cheer the masses with his music that brings with it a message of hope.

This will be my first ”real” international release since 2005 with the release of the conceptual album ’Sounds of Åre’ made by very small means. ’Sing for the world’ was written with a message; love and freedom to the people. I am also thinking in terms of gratitude and joy to be alive, and able to breathe in the air, of a new dawn.
