our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Andi Jackson. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the fascinating atmosphere of his songs.
As soon as you press the play button you are hit by a modern sound that hides in itself distant roots.
The psychedelic sounds and the repetitive voice immediately hypnotized me and I felt transported to the streets of Mumbai where altered by drugs, I got lost in that city in search of myself.
This music makes you travel, I heard shades of avant-garde in it.
This music bewitches you and manages to take your full attention.
Andi Jackson has very clear ideas on how to present himself to the world and he does it with an innovative and original sound.
A great compositional ability that takes into account even the smallest detail. I was very fascinated by these strange and magical harmonies.
A talented artist that I absolutely recommend.

Manchester based multi-instrumentalist, song-writer and musician Andi Jackson is a busy man indeed, not letting the likes of a pandemic slow him down in anyway, shape or form, playing in the bands Shuck, Lake of Snakes & Our Man In The Bronze Age, all have releases due out in 2021, along with his friend Beanie Bhebhe, runs his own DIY record label Fr33zehead, holds down a full-time job and has just completed the writing and recording of his second solo album Sub Horror.
