Inviolet Row was formed in the early 2000s in Las Vegas during an exciting time in that city’s music scene, when lot of bands were sharing membership incestuously. Inviolet Row frontman Lee Scrivner used to be in a band called Captain Go with Marty Crandall, who later joined The Shins. Inviolet Row also performed with drummer Ronnie Vanucci before he joined The Killers. Inviolet Row’s first drummer, Abe Millett, went on to play bass for Third Eye Blind – so a lot of moving around. It was an exciting time. But the main guys in the band – Lee Scrivner and Kevin Brewer – were childhood friends.
