In Search Of is a father, Michael Raitzin, and daughter, Michelle Ray (NBC The Voice Team Blake, with an accumulation of over 3.5 million streams on Spotify) collaboration based on a mutual love of music and books. The duo is based in Los Angeles, CA.
Michelle Ray was born in Manhasset, NY and was named after her uncle Misha Raitzin, who was a Metropolitan Opera Tenor in NYC.
Michael Raitzin, was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and he made his way to Los Angeles, CA while stopping on the way for seven years in Copenhagen, Denmark. He started his music career in Denmark in the early 90s and continued to play, tour, write music and lyrics, produce and manage rock bands such as Danger Danger and Royal Hunt among others.
Guest musicians include Mark Boals/lead vocals as Mad Hatter (Yingwei Malmsteen, Ring Of Fire) and Andre Andersen/keys and piano virtuoso (Royal Hunt) among others.
