our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Absinthe Green. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify I really liked their compositional style.
The powerful and epic sound of this band immediately intrigued me. Direct music with no strings attached that hits you like a punch in the face.
I really liked the vocal timbre of the singer, a voice rich in nuances that releases a wild and uncontrollable rock spirit.
You can feel that these guys have a great compositional experience behind them as the chord progression and harmonic intuitions are never predictable and banal.
Absinthe Green produce solid, mature music and surely the band spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sonic understanding.
A nice discovery that I recommend everyone to go and listen to.

Absinthe Green is the brainchild of songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Eirini “Absinthe Green”. Absinthe made a name for herself playing the bass for different acts of the metal scene through the years. She has participated in international projects, such as handling the bass duties for the German band Enemy of the Sun, and Greek dark metal act RandomWalk among others. Furthermore, she has shared the stage with renowned artists in numerous shows and festivals throughout Europe.
Absinthe started writing music for this project back in Germany, in 2016. Having a diverse musical background, her songwriting blends a variety of music genres and influences together, into the unique sound of Absinthe Green.
