A & B Sides Vol. Two is Everything But The Everything’s Ep Out Now
The band’s ability to blend nostalgic 80s influences with a modern sensibility is on full display.
The opening track, “Hotshot,” is a pulsating synth-driven anthem. The driving guitar riff and infectious bassline evoke memories of Depeche Mode and The Cure.
Sophia Prise’s vocals are a standout feature, delivering a theatrical performance that adds a layer of dramatic intensity. “Hotshot” is a dark, brooding track that is nostalgic and forward-thinking.
“Salt” is a more experimental track that showcases the band’s versatility. The distorted bass and driving rhythm create a sense of unease, while Prise’s ethereal vocals provide a counterbalance.
The song’s epic chorus and haunting atmosphere are reminiscent of post-punk bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees.
A & B Sides Vol. Two is a compelling and atmospheric EP that demonstrates the band’s growth as songwriters and performers. Everything But The Everything is a band to watch.
