our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Linus Gxrdfeldt. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the mood of his music.
I really liked this artist’s musical approach.
Music that looks to the past but manages to be modern. A sound that for some reason reminded me of the way we compose music of English bands.
Melodies a little dark and nostalgic with a voice that in some passages reminded me of Nick Cave.
The songs of this eclectic artist manage to entertain the listener from the first to the last second for the continuous harmonic and rhythmic variations.
Certainly, a music that is not at all obvious and banal.
Linus loves to experiment and you can feel his great passion for music that allows him to abandon himself completely while he composes his songs.
Beautiful music, definitely worth listening to.

Nostalgic and Vibrating!
Swedish poet Linus Gxrdfeldt grew tired of writing poetry in Swedish and decided to start writing lyrics in English, put together a band of old friends and recorded an album. The result is a melodic and unpredictable collection of songs, with a blend of rock, post punk, and pop.
The album is produced by Mattias Alkberg and recorded live and mixed by Martin “Konie” Ehrencrona in Studio Cobra, Stockholm, late July 2020.
