our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Sarah Krimson. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the melodies of her songs.
This artist’s melodies and voice immediately bewitched me.
I’ve always been a lover of reverse sounds and in this production, I heard a lot of them and I was immediately captivated.
These notes run over you like raindrops and slowly penetrate your skin and they blend with your blood and reach your soul opening mysterious portals to the unconscious.
Listening to these beautiful melodies you begin to travel with your mind and I saw myself contemplating the ocean while the sun was disappearing behind the horizon.
I felt alone but then Sarah’s voice came to comfort me.
It is this duality of nostalgia and hope that is the secret, in my opinion, of this talented artist’s music.
Songs that live poised in the twilight, dancing between the known and the unknown.
An artist of great creativity that I can highly recommend.

“This song is a story about how mental health can take its toll on people.
The main character of the song is an old lady who never overcame her “sad days” and remained stuck in her past. During her life she fell in love, got married, she has the career of her dreams, but still, something seemed to be missing. The story ends with the inability of the husband to really understand how she was feeling (which here represents the sentiment of denial) thinking the wife’s depression is just some mere sadness that will go away.
The massage is: we need to have the courage to seek help when we really need it, we’re humans and there is nothing to be ashamed of“.
