E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – The Limits
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Limits. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I really liked the melody of their songs.
This band delivers music that is intimate and powerful at the same time.
Very refined and catchy melodies that hide a veil of melancholy emphasized even more by a voice that has a very interesting and recognizable timbre.
I liked the arrangements where the guitars intervene at the right time and make the song grow, managing to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The slightly rough sound in my opinion adds something more to the sound of this band making it much more “real”.
A sound that reminded me for some reason of the eighties way of making music, in some passages these guys reminded me of The Cure.
The only advice I would give is to push the sound a bit more to make it a bit more powerful so that the beautiful lyrics and the fantastic melodies are emphasized even more by the music.
A nice discovery that I feel very strongly to recommend to everyone because these guys have no ‘limits” 🙂
