our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Lance Rodriguez. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of his music.
Lance Rodriguez’s music is modern and fresh.

I really liked the arrangements and the sounds he selects for his songs.

Lance lives in San Diego pursuing music, working multiple jobs, and writing daily to develop his craft. He cites John Mayer, Daniel Caeser, and the 1975 as some of his major influences. Lance incorporates all aspects of his influences for his own unique sound. Lance has been able to work with several top industry producers and artist in LA including producer/composer Mark Rodriguez, Arif Elahi, and Cobe Jones.
Trying to Say is Lance’s reflection on his artist journey. There is always someone from the outside willing to share an opinion or a recommendation without any experience in the music industry.
Lance’s Trying to Say embodies his sense of vulnerability and raw passion for his craft and love of music. Thick skin does not develop overnight but through the years of overcoming frustrating times during his journey.
