The song starts with an intriguing chord, before the vocals kick in, building a melody that feels contemporary and unique.

There’s a noticeable resemblance to the anthemic sound of Imagine Dragons, but Carrying Torches brings something different to the table — a heightened intensity and a certain drive that gives the track a unique edge.

The band channels influences from the ’90s, creating a powerful musical foundation. The drums hit hard, while the guitars relentlessly push the song forward, creating an irresistible urge to move.

The chorus is undeniably catchy, the kind of hook that sticks with you long after the song ends. However, it’s not just the infectious rhythm that makes “Good In Blue” stand out — the melodic line and chord progressions are carefully crafted, offering a level of sophistication and depth that elevates the track beyond typical radio fare.

What’s especially impressive is the precision of the songwriting. The song is bold but never overbearing, delivering raw energy and thoughtful arrangement.

Carrying Torches prove they have an ear for memorable melodies and a knack for blending modern and nostalgic elements.

These are musicians with serious experience and a clear artistic vision, able to produce a song that is polished without feeling overly manufactured.

“Good In Blue” is an anthem for those looking to feel the music as much as hear it, a track that invites you to move but also makes you think.
